Mankind Dispensary is a cannabis dispensary located in San Diego, CA, founded by Ebon Johnson. They are dedicated to providing clients with quality education and a unique shopping experience. They tailor to the Cannabis newbie and the long time connoisseur. Mankind is one of the few #BlackOwned dispensaries in San Diego.
Mankind Dispensary is located in the Miramar neighborhood. It is a short 15 minute drive up from our place in Hillcrest. They are located in a retail plaza which is great because there is plenty of parking. When we pulled up, we were greeting by the bold neon logo. 
Head up the stairs and to the right to the social distant line. Check in and show your ID when you reach the front of the line. As a new visiter, I was able to join the Mankind club get 20% of my first purchase. You get 5% and 10% off your 2nd and 3rd visit, respectively.
Mankind uses its wall space to showcase all of its products. The methods allow you, the consumer, to browse freely in a circular rotation. One of the things I like most, is their commitment to educate; each strain has a product card which gives insight on the expected effects. Knowledge is power! You are able to make educated selections based on your desired high. They have a great selection of wax, flower, drinkables, edibles and concentrated oils. Another key feature, is that the entire store is self serve. You can pickup, touch, and smell BEFORE you buy. This made me feel super confident in my purchase. The staff is super great and happy to answer any questions, but definitely not overbearing.
